Forbes Wellness, LLC is a solo Nurse Practitioner practice. Services include providing primary care via telemedicine and house calls to homebound patients. In light of the current Coronavirus, home visits are being limited due to risk of transmission. Jill Forbes, A-CNP, GS-C is an experienced provider holding an Autonomous Practice license from the Virginia Board of Medicine. She has been a practicing NP since 2005 who provides primary care for ages 14 and up. Her previous clinical experience includes working in intensive care, a private internal medicine practice for ten years, skilled nursing, rehab and assisted living facilities. Jill has a passion for caring for the elderly population and aiding her patients during end-of-life. She is a Certified Gerontological Specialist (GS-C).

Putting Patients First
While improving access to care, Jill can provide care to homebound patients via telemedicine and in person for those requiring acute illness evaluations requiring a face to face visit. There is a $50 house call charge for all in-home visits. She can also do wellness exams, chronic illness consultations, medication reconciliation, and evaluating for palliative care or hospice referrals. Jill Forbes, A-CNP, GS-C
Jill Forbes is a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and has been working with patients since her college years. She first worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Burke Health and Rehab during one summer while she was attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she obtained her Bachelors degree of Science in Nursing. Upon graduation from college, she worked as an RN, charge nurse and preceptor in the ICU at Virginia Hospital Center for five years. She received her Masters degree in Nursing from the collaborative school of medicine from George Washington University Medical School and George Mason University. Jill then went on to work as an Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner for an Internal Medicine practice for ten years. She then joined Virginia Internal Medicine in 2015. She rounded at multiple facilities which included assisted living, long-term care and subacute care. Jill was nominated for one of Prince William County's Best NPs in 2018.
In May of 2019, she received her Autonomous Practice License from the Virginia Board of Medicine which allows her to work without a supervising physician. Due to her Geriatric interest, she also recently became a Certified Gerontological Specialist (GS-C) so she could further her knowledge to care for elderly patients.
Jill enjoys spending time with her family, two daughters, friends and keeping fit. She is always ready to engage in sports related conversations and enjoys shopping and traveling too!
